The 10th ArtPosition will be held from 10 to 12 August 2012 in the area of Cardinal in Fribourg (Switzerland).

ArtPosition is a platform which assists well-known artists and others who are less well known, coming from the region of Morat, Fribourg, Berne, Lausanne, Neuchâtel, in presenting their works to the general public. Moreover, the exhibition committee invites young talented artists from throughout Switzerland and outside of Switzerland, as well as a foreign gallery to participate in this exhibition.

The concept of the exhibition is unique: ArtPosition is held during three days – the show’s opening, exhibition and closing. The exposed works can be acquired at the ArtPosition exhibition, as well as on the www.artposition.ch/portraits/market Internet site.

Since 2004, the Valiant Award Prize is given to an artist designated by the public.

In addition to the exhibition, ArtPosition offers to artists and galleries the possibility to advertise their own exhibitions and art events under the category “Calendar.”

Under the category “Art Market”, amateurs can search for or can sell works of art.
